Almost 1!

I missed the post for your 11 months, Stella.  We were in the process of packing and moving for awhile.  Big things you've started doing:

- Babbling "mama" and "dada" more reliably.  Yesterday morning I had you in bed with us.  You were poking at dad.  He was being grumpy and didn't want to get up.  I asked, "Who's that?"  You said, "Dada," and he rolled right over and smiled.  He didn't get up and out of bed at that, but he woke up a bit.
- Giving open mouthed kisses.  They're slobbery!
- Properly crawling
- Trying to stand on your own.  This results in lots of bonks on the butt.  You have better balance when you hit your butt to not always go all the way onto your back or head.
- You make a MESS of yourself while you eat.  You refuse to sign anything.  You know what the words and the signs mean.  When we ask/sign if you want more, you look right at the food you're eating and smile.  When you're done, you arch your back and run your hands through your hair making a giant mess.
- In restaurants you nearly twist completely out of the high chair to see what other people are doing.  You're quite nosy!
- Emma is a bit rough with you.  You manage to hold your own.  Unfortunately you giggle at her when she rough houses with you.  Usually it's just hugging your or tickling you so Emma thinks anything she does to you is ok.  It's hard to convince her otherwise when you encourage her.
- Waving hi.  It's so fun!
- You're more interested in flipping through books and not just chewing on them.

Here are some pictures from our family photo shoot and your 1 year photos.  You didn't want to sit still.  The photographer was trying to get one of Emma kissing you.  She would take your whole face and try to turn it to kiss you.  You were not inclined to let her.
