Orchard trip for our anniversary

Well, due to the early warming and then cold snap after, we weren't able to pick apples this year.  We still did our annual trip to the apple orchard though for my and dad's anniversary.  I think I enjoy it more now that we go as a family with you two.  We got apples already picked, cider, donuts, and pumpkins.  Since we have gone to Nana and Papa's the last 2 years for Halloween and will again this year, we haven't done pumpkins at our house as a family.  I feel this is a travesty (ok, that might be a little strong) so we are rectifying that this year.  We'll carve them and then just take them with us to Nana and Papa's.

We went Friday after I got home from school because Saturday was supposed to be a rain out.  There weren't many people there, which was nice.  Stella slept through the trip.  Emma, you just tripped 3 different times!  The first time you were running and didn't see a black hose.  The second and third times you were walking...and that's it.  We went into the pumpkin patch a bit.  You didn't want to go in the corn maze.  You loved your donut and picking out pumpkins.

After we were going to go to dinner near MSU.  We forgot it was Homecoming weekend and there was a parade.  Long story short, we ended up driving around for 1.5 hours and never got dinner.  All we got was a cranky, crying Stella.  Today we went to Michael's to pick up some things to make crafts.  We were going to go to lunch until Stella puked everywhere multiple times.  Stella, you eventually stopped which was fortunate, but still no lunch.  Apparently dad and I will have to have an anniversary meal on our own some time!

You would say "purple pickles!" but you couldn't do it without shaking your arms...so I pinned them down

Donut!
