Big step

Tonight we are changing your bed to the toddler bed with the half rail on the side. We haven't really made a big deal out of it. I've been trying to today for you. We'll see how it works. I was going to do it yesterday, but your dad wanted to be home for it. If you don't go down to sleep, I will be happy he's home for it too.

Sunday you and I went to dinner with Grandpa, Denny, and Marilyn. We were at Chili's. They had a word search on your kids' menu. I circled some letters I knew you know and asked you what they were. You said, correctly each time, R, C, W, O, Y, E, and K. When you first said the R, Marilyn said, "Callie! How does she know that? TJ doesn't even do that? What did you do to get her to do that?" I really have no idea how you learned that. You watch Super Why on PBS and you really get into that. We read a lot and you play with your letters. Otherwise I have no idea. I am very proud though every time someone is impressed by how much you know already.
