It's amazing to me to see the changes in you every day. When we're downstairs at night and it gets to be about 7:30, and I ask you, "Are you ready for a bath?" You say, "Baf" and walk to the bottom of the stairs. When we get upstairs you go right to the bathroom and look in the tub. If we ask you if we can change your diaper, you walk to the stairs (if we're downstairs) or to your room if we're upstairs, go to the cabinet with the diapers and pull one out, hand it to us, then lift your arms to be picked up and put on the changing table.
You have somehow learned wrestling moves too. I'm not sure what it's actually called, but I call it the pile driver. If Dad or I are laying on the floor, you'll get a running start and belly flop on our backs or bellies (whichever is up at the time). It kind of hurts. You'll also climb on me and start galloping so I start bouncing you. You have also figured out how to get on and off of your horse, although you have yet to figure out to walk with it while sitting down. You can go backwards, just not forwards.
You have words for shoes, "sues"; horse, "hsss"; please, "peas"; and up, "uuuP". When we're sitting on the furniture and you want up, you tend to just hold your arms at us and cry. We're trying to get you to say "Up, please".
You seem to be over your egg issues too. I tried giving you some egg for breakfast a few weekends ago and you were fine. Last weekend you ate a whole fried egg and were fine. You got some kind of rash on your cheek so I'm wondering if that was the egg still. No throwing up though which was nice.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and you can eat everything we're having! We'll start to decorate the house for Christmas soon. I'm curious if you'll leave the ornaments on the tree alone. I'm very excited to see your reactions to the holidays this year. Last year you were so little. Just last night Dad was saying he missed having a very little one. I do miss that you won't nap on us anymore, but I know at some point that will come back. I like how much you can communicate and interact with us. You're very into babies right now. I hope you'll be as interested in your little sister or brother when the time comes. (It's still a ways off, Grandmas!)
