Uncle Jeremy came up for Christmas Eve. In the morning, I asked if you knew who was coming today. You said, "Santa!" I said, "Who else?" You said, "Uncle Jeremy..." I'm glad you were more excited to see him than when you mentioned he was coming. Apparently he doesn't hold a candle to Santa.
We went out to see the new house we'll be getting, God willing everything falls into place. After that, we came home to a steak dinner cooked by Daddy. You put cookies, carrots, and milk out for Santa and his reindeer and off to bed you went.

On Christmas morning, you woke up at 4:40 am. You usually get up when it's still dark out. I almost got up with you, but thought to check my phone and a good thing I did! I convinced you to fall back asleep and we made a little make shift bed on the floor next to our bed. Then you slept until 6:40. The iPad amused you for 20 more minutes and then we just took you downstairs.
Uncle Jeremy was a good sport and woke up too. (He was sleeping on the couch in the basement since you took his room. He did remind you of that when you showed him your purple room. He said, "It used to be red and it used to be my room." You said, "No, it's Emma's room.")

Opening your gifts from Santa. These are princess slippers. |

This is a princess dress. You also got a tiara. Santa is good at accessorizing! |
 |
I love that you were just as excited about the Mater truck as you were the princess dress! I haven't lost you yet! |

Santa also got you your own camera. |
After we opened gifts, we had breakfast. Daddy made eggs. I did sausage and homemade waffles. Then we got ready and went to Nana and Papa's.

Your cookie set you love. |

After Nana and Papa's, we went to Aunt Zelda's to celebrate with my side of the family. Of course, we never remember to take the camera in there so I have no pictures of you there. You loved playing with TJ. You were great all day! I was really impressed. You turned on the charm and hugged and kissed everyone and talked to everyone. Great Papa was very impressed with all you could say and do. It was a pretty good Christmas I would say.
