On Sunday, December 18, we all went down to Monroe to Great Grandma's house to have Christmas with nearly all the Maurers. Uncle Paul and Aunt Kim and their kids didn't come in from Pennsylvania. This was the first time you met your Aunt Chris, Uncle Todd, and cousins Brooke and Brandon. Of course, when we first got there, you set up shop in front of the food. You were able to visit with Aunt Kellyn and Uncle TJ. It's nice that you're a bit older now and remember Kellyn even though you don't see her often. (You're laying in my lap and across my chest right now as I post this pointing out everyone in the pictures. Aunt Kellyn was the first you pointed out!)
It was a nice day and a nice visit. You were great. You were very appreciative when opening your gifts. The first you opened was from Aunt Kellyn and you wanted to play with it right away. Then you opened a gift from Aunt Chris (your princess dress up doll) and wanted to play with that. We had to keep pushing presents at you. Maybe it would be better to let you space them out and open a new one when you're a bit tired of the last one you opened. That might make us opening gifts all day though given how many people are generous enough to buy you a gift!

Princess pajamas and Tinkerbell socks from Great Grandma. You also got a Lion King coloring book that you call your "Hakuna Matata" coloring book. |

Russian stacking cups that look like Santa. You were pretty good with these. |

This had stuffed animals in it until you pushed it in front of the TV and sat in it yourself. |
You pushed this sleigh in front of the TV, pulled out all the stuffed animals, and climbed in it yourself. Uncle Mark found it very funny because apparently your dad and Aunt Kellyn used to sit in front of the TV so he couldn't see too. I guess it's an inherited trait. Even when he moved to the other side of the room to see, you just pushed the sleigh to that side. It's a good thing he loves you!
