18 months

You are officially a year and a half. You share your 6 month day with your great grandma that you'll never get to meet. She would have loved you.

Anyway, your vocabulary is getting larger every day. You can say more sounds accurately. Today it was "hot stuff" as you watched the squash cook in the oven. You love climbing the stairs on the deck outside. You'll start at the top and say, "Big step," as you step down. Then on the last one you'll say, "One more." You're starting to be able to catch a ball if it's thrown to you. You kick the soccer ball outside (with your left foot, which is odd to me since you're right handed). You'll color a bit, although you prefer to just put the crayons in the box and then dump them out. Today we attempted to make cards for Grandma (although you call her "Bubba") and Nana for Mother's Day. We got some finger paint. You were not happy with that! We put your hand in the green paint, you looked at it, and started screaming! You apparently don't like being dirty.

We're going on Tuesday to get some 18 month photos taken. Hopefully you cooperate!
