Personality

Stella, your personality is beginning to develop.  It's a personality of giggles, interest, and dominance.  You are still army crawling with your belly on the floor.  When you stop, you'll push up.  You've also decided you want to be on top of all your toys.  You climb on top of Violet, your activity table, everything you can!

Yesterday, Emma wanted to be in her tent.  You managed to get in there too.  You were also doing it this morning so I snapped a picture.  You kick your feet and giggle and play with Emma.

I was trying to put you to bed last night.  We had gone to dinner at Olive Garden.  You were tired and fell asleep for 10 minutes on the way home.  Apparently that was enough of a power nap and you didn't want to fall back asleep.  You nursed then I put you up on my shoulder a bit.  You kept leaning in and putting your forehead to my forehead.  You'd giggle, lean back, then lean in and do it again.  You still weren't asleep so Daddy put you in the swing.  I showered.  When I came down, you were still awake.  By now it was about 9:00.  I rocked with you in the rocking chair for a bit.  You kept babbling, blowing raspberries, and chewing on a bink.  It was pretty funny.

You're not quite 16 pounds but long enough for 6-9 month clothes.  You are eating a bunch.  Yesterday Daddy said he gave you a 4 ounce bottle then had to make another one right after.  You're still waking up at 2 am to eat.  I don't remember when Emma went back to sleeping through the night.  I hope you do soon.  I'm hoping you get past this teething and possible growth spurt quickly.  In about a month and a half we'll work on just falling asleep on your own.

You are currently sitting in your swing, sitting forward, laughing and talking.  You're supposed to be falling asleep and getting a nap in before we go to Heidi's baby shower.  Apparently you have other plans!
