2 months

Stella, you turned 2 months on Tuesday.  We all went blueberry picking in the morning.  It was a lot easier to pick blueberries with you rather than strawberries.  When we first got there, you were sleeping and I put you in the Moby.  You started crying and I was concerned you and I would have to sit in the car or that I wouldn't get to pick blueberries.  You calmed down quickly enough and spent the rest of the time asleep.  You only fussed when I would turn and the sun would catch your eyes.  Emma was much more into picking the blueberries too.  She squished none where she squished about a half dozen to a dozen strawberries when we went.  Last year when we went picking, it was awful.  It had rained so much in the spring that we couldn't fight off the mosquitoes.  Plus we got there late enough in the season that it was pretty picked over.  Within 45 minutes we had picked over 6 pounds.  I froze some so you could have blueberries in the winter when you are able to eat them finally.  There's strawberries frozen for you too!

Emma holding her bucket.  She didn't want it tied around her waist like Dad.

Stella, you are smiling at us already.  I swear sometimes you laugh too.  You still aren't a huge fan of the bottle.  You've spent the last 2 afternoons home with dad as I've had to go into school.  You've taken maybe 1 ounce total and cried the rest of the time.  Hopefully you outgrow this or the fall will not be fun when I return to work.  You have pretty good control over your head so we'll put you in the Bumbo chair soon.  I think you'll enjoy that more.  Hopefully that will make making dinner even easier.  You've spread most of your eating out to 3 hours in between.  That helps.  Now it doesn't feel like either you are eating or I am eating.
