Since family and friends are spread out all over the place, we decided to put this blog together so everyone who wants to can be a part of this crazy time! I have a friend who writes her blog to her daughter and I thought that was a great idea. I would have loved to read a diary or a whole bunch of letters from mom/dad/grandma to me about me.

Hide n Seek
Emma, let me try to recap the hide and seek game I just observed between you and Dad. I watched from Stella's window since she was asleep inside. He faced the house and counted to 15 while you went and hid...behind the walnut tree...that you hid behind every other time you and Daddy played. He turned around and said, "Are you hiding...under the deck? Nope. Are you hiding...in the garden? Nope." At this point, you poked your head around the tree. He said, "Are you hiding behind the tree?" You yelled back, "Here I am! Daddy, it's my turn. You hide." You counted, "10, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13. Are you not! Here I come!" You turned around and said, "Are you hiding...under the deck? Nope. Are you hiding...in the tomato plants? Nope. I see you!" You guys did this a couple other times. At one point you told Daddy it was his turn to hide and that he had to hide behind the walnut tree. It was really funny. This in no way captures it fully, but it's the best I can do.
