The funny ones:
We were outside building a snowman last weekend. You laid down in the snow and told Daddy to lay down next to you to make a snow angel. You got up and picked up a handful of snow. He went to get up, saying "I don't trust you." He thought you were going to put the snow in his face. You said to him, "Daddy, you just need to relax."
The other night I popped a Dove dark chocolate egg in my mouth. You asked, "Mama, what's in your mouth?" I said, "A special Mama treat." You said, "Oh. Can I have a piece of chocolate too?"
Last night I was telling Daddy about the heart-to-heart you and I had at daycare yesterday about leaving Will (the youngest baby) alone when he started to cry. He looked at you and said, "Emma, do you make the boys cry?" You said, "Yup!" Oh boy....I'm sure you will some day too!
The sassy ones:
One night at dinner, you were trying to ask Daddy something. He wasn't hearing you at all. I answered you instead. You said, "NO! I'm talking to my Daddy!" We've started putting you in time out for the sass. It's abating. The whining and crying for what you want is getting bad though. We just walk away from you. The biggest issue is you want specific people to do specific things or you throw a fit. We're trying to break you of that now before Stella gets here and you don't really have that choice anymore. I'm hoping when you're a bit older it won't be an issue anyway.
You're big into things matching right now. You want a barrette if it matches you clothes. You like when your underwear matches your shirt. (You don't NEED them to match, which is good. You just like when they do.) You also pull your shirt sleeves up like I do often. Not sure if you got that from watching me or what. You are able to put your socks, pants, underwear, and shoes on all by yourself. Sometimes you need us to spin the sock so it fits correctly. It's crazy to have you doing so much for yourself already.
