First time in the pool

Your dad and I went to our friend's Brian and Larissa's wedding yesterday so Karen and Steve watched you. They were heading to the Kolb's (Garry, Arlona, and Miranda were home) to play in their pool so you got to play in the pool too. Jessica dropped off one of Bella's swimsuits for us to borrow. I put it on you to make sure it fit. You looked so old in it! Garry is a photographer so I told him I expected pictures since it was your first foray in the water. He got lots of pictures and video for us too. Karen said you enjoyed the pool for about 45 minutes, but when you were done, you were done. You also had raspberries for the first time and loved those. Miranda texted me, "Boy your kid can eat." Apparently you ate all the raspberries off 3 people's plates and got a funny look on your face when they tried to slip in a piece of watermelon instead.

On another note, today you decided to taste the dog food. I was washing some things in the sink. I turned around and you had a few pieces in your hand, a funny look on your face, and it looked as though you were grinding your teeth. Sure enough, when I swept your mouth you had a piece of Kaya's food in there. So gross! At least it appeared you didn't like it, but I'm sure that wouldn't stop you from trying it again.
