Yesterday we met Grandma at the Tanger Outlets to do some shopping. All the kids' clothes places were having sales so I went to buy stuff for you for next year. You were great the whole time we were shopping. You started smiling when we first got there. You started to fuss a bit but sucking on the pacifier and gnawing on your hands. In the last store you started falling asleep... except when I ran into some shelves. The last store was pretty cramped to be going through it with the stroller. Then Grandma wanted to go to lunch. I was a bit apprehensive: we hadn't done a sit down restaurant yet and it had been around 3 hours since you had last eaten so we were pushing your happiness level. Fortunately you were happy and talked a bit while we ate. I decided to feed you before we left so you'd fall asleep on the ride home.
When we got home, you slept for another hour or so in your car seat. I finally woke you up to feed you so we could stay on our loose schedule. After that we did a lot of floor time since you had spent a lot of the day in your car seat. I put you on your belly on a blanket on the floor to do some tummy time...and you rolled right onto your back! I put you back on your belly, and again, you rolled onto your back. I thought if I put your hands out completly to your side you'd stay on your belly. Nope! You pulled your arms in and rolled right onto your back again. You had been rolling onto your back here and there, but this was the first time it was so consistent and happened even if we spread your arms way out from your body. After that, I left you on your back and we played with some of your toys. You have a lizard that does colors, shapes, songs, and numbers in English, Spanish, and French. You liked the French and even talked back a bit. You did NOT like the Spanish and began crying during it. Apparently you'll take French in high school!
