We had a winter thunderstorm early this morning. You came into our room. Usually I just walk you right back to you own room, but I know you're not a fan of thunder so I just picked you up and put you in bed with us. You laid your head down, picked it up and said, "Mamma, that's thunder." Then you laid back down. You tossed and turned a bit but were much less restless than you usually are in our bed. I heard you start to whisper something to yourself. It was really quiet so I just let it go. Then all of a sudden you sing loudly, "Three blind mice, three blind mice..." and tried to keep singing. I wanted to laugh, but I wanted to sleep so I shushed you. Daddy didn't even hear you apparently.
You're potty trained except for at night, which is to be expected. You're done with your princess potty pretty much. You prefer the seat insert. While part of me feels it was a wasted $20 on the princess potty, it served its purpose to get you trained so I'll take it!
In the morning you wake up and tend to want to stay up. We'll get you back in bed, but then your music will turn off. We decided to get a docking station for our iPods so we can turn a play list or something on for you that will play longer until you're back to sleep in the morning. The things we do... :-)
