We celebrated your first Easter for 3 days. On Good Friday your Nana and Aunt Kellyn came up. I had school so I wasn't around. Nana and Grandpa put together an Easter basket for you: a dolly, chocolate (which mom and dad enjoyed!), books, a very cute dress, and the requisite bunny ears. You got very angry at the cellophane that Nana covered the basket in. You furrowed your brows, yelled at it, and shook it up and down with all your might. I'm pretty sure you won that battle.
Saturday your dad and I took you down to visit Great Grandma in Monroe and meet your Great Aunt Kim, Great Uncle Paul, and their kids Nick, Drew, Claire, and Jack. You went right to Uncle Paul, which I'm sure will make Uncle Mark jealous since you just cry at him. It could be dad looks enough like Uncle Paul that you figure he's a good guy too. You got a little cranky and didn't let Great Aunt Mary or Great Grandma's friend Carol hold you for very long.
Easter Sunday we went to Great Grandpa's house to have dinner with him, Grandma, and Bobby. You were tolerant of Grandma to start with, and then you went back to yelling when she held you. You sat with Great Grandpa and Bobby just fine. You have something against Grandma though. Apparently I did the same to your Great Grandma (your Grandma's mom), so Grandma just says she now knows how her own mom felt. We put you in your green dress and finally figured out how to put the hat on you so it looks cute and not silly.
After dinner, we went to Nana's house to see Grandpa. He was so excited to see you!
That was a lot of visiting and driving in 2 days for you. You handled it pretty well overall.
