Even from the beginning though you fit. I think you were about a month and dad and I both looked at each other and said, "Doesn't it seem like she's always been here?" It felt very natural and comfortable to have you in our lives.
Your personality is starting to emerge a bit now. You smile and "talk" -- there are times we can't get a word in! You are starting to play with some of your touch-and-feel board books. You're very good at closing them and you try to taste them, but that doesn't work so well yet. The brighter the page, the more you like it. Sometimes you reach for the parts to touch in the book. Right now your reaching isn't fine-tuned enough though so you prefer to reach at the toys hanging above you on your playmat because you don't have to be as accurate to hit them. You also like locking onto the rungs on the back of Great-Grandma Maguet's rocking chair. You'll never meet her, but she spent many days rocking me in that rocking chair so it feels like she's with us with her arms around us when we rock in that chair.
Today I took you to the girls' basketball game at school. You stayed awake and mostly happy for nearly the entire game. You only got screaming angry when you had a wet diaper and I didn't realize it. Otherwise you were enjoying all the movement from the girls on the court. You didn't mind the loud buzzer sounds or the crowd noise at all. You fell asleep for the last half hour and even the buzzer didn't disturb you then. (The girls lost, unfortunately.) You also wore a very cute jumper to the game. This was the first dress you've had on and you looked so cute!
