Last day of Christmas

Typically I have the Christmas decorations down on December 26. Your Aunt Kate, Uncle Nate, cousin Spencer, and Chris and Andrea were coming up on the 28th to visit and meet you so I left them up a little longer. (They came down on the 29th though!) You decided to actually be happy for a few hours, unlike the day before when I took you out to Nate's parents house to meet them and Kate's parents. You decided you were going to be angry for the most part. You were just over tired. Once you napped, you were plenty happy and smiled at everyone.

Your cousin Spencer was all about you: "Baby...." go play for a bit, come back, "Baby?"....go play for a bit, come back, pull the blanket off your head while you were eating, "Baby!" He gave you kisses too. It's a good thing he was enamored with you since he's getting a sibling in August! He enjoyed your toys and wanted to get in your swing and bouncy chair. He did sit in your bumbo chair.

You have been sitting in that too. You list a bit to your right, but you love sitting up. You have discovered your feet and it's the perfect position for you to kick and watch them move.

At this point, I think you have met the people you will interact with most, both friends and family. Now, we just need them to come around more so you aren't such a mamma's girl: you calm down in 5 minutes or less if you're crying and you're handed over to me. You aren't so hot with other people just yet. But, like all things I have found, you are slowly getting more comfortable with your surroundings so I know it's just a matter of time.
