It's crazy to me that I have a nursery in my house. Your dad went out Monday and picked up the furniture we had ordered (a crib and dresser/ changing table). I called him in the morning to see how it was going. He was on the way home with just the dresser, unable to fit both the dresser and the crib in the back of our Escape. He was worried he wouldn't be able to fit the crib in the back at all. I suggested to just take it out of the box and load it in pieces. I told him if that wouldn't work, call me and I'd find someone at school with a truck.
I called him later that afternoon. He said he got back to Babies 'R Us to get the crib and, "I thought to myself: WWJD. What would Jeremy do?" I let out a groan at that point, concerned the crib had been loaded on top of the escape with only one person holding onto it from either side from out the windows. He said, "No, I just took it out and loaded it in pieces." So, your crib made it home fine. Your dad and JP put it together (twice) and apparently Dixie tested it out for you already (although you will hopefully enjoy it more than she did).
We're hoping your Grandma Vickie will paint a tree behind the rocker and an elephant or giraffe peeking out from behind the dresser. You'll have a jungle/African savannah theme (yes I know those don't really mesh geographically) since we loved Animal Kingdom at Disney so much.
